You need no experience or basic knowledge about the different types of plumbing works there will be in a domestic property.

Plumbing Course

The plumbing course is a two week programme, that enables you to be able to have a full understanding of plumbing works.

In order to achieve your Plumbing NVQ (City & Guilds 6089) you must build an acceptable portfolio of evidence and undertake on-site assessments that can be arranged via the plumbing training centre.

To become gas safe registered, the plumbing course must be completed firstly before other courses are then proceeded with.

The plumbing course covers all parts of domestic plumbing, fault finding and maintenance. There is a theory section and practical section to do.

• Jointing skills for copper tube
• Installing and testing sanitary ware
• Plumbing waste for bathroom suites
• Copper pipe work for bathroom suites
• Installing and commissioning bathroom suites
• Fabricate and install steel pipe work
